Serving Southern Idaho with Compassionate Surgical Care

Updated 1/13/2021

Unfortunately, the rates of infection and hospitalization in southern Idaho remain very high. Across the country, many hospitals are still overwhelmed.

In response, St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, has suspended most elective surgery cases effective Nov 16, 2020 through January 2021.  Life threatening and urgent cases such as cancer surgeries are still proceeding for now. This elective surgery "pause" is unlikely to be lifted until late winter 2021. We do not yet know when we will be allowed to schedule new elective surgeries requiring an overnight stay at St. Luke's.

However, simple surgeries that do not require an overnight stay are being permitted at St. Luke's for now.

Treasure Valley Hospital is still allowing the scheduling of elective surgeries at this time.

Please do your part to STOP THE SPREAD by staying home when able, social distancing, washing your hands frequently, avoiding indoor gatherings, and most importantly, wearing a mask when in public.

Our clinic is still open, though we are limited in what surgeries can be scheduled due to the pandemic.

When visiting our clinic:

  • Must wear a mask at all times that covers your nose and your mouth.

  • You may bring ONE support person with you. No children please.

  • Routine postoperative or preoperative visits may be conducted via telehealth

  • If you are sick or have a possible Covid 19 exposure, please call us and postpone your appointment!

  • All waiting areas and exam rooms are being thoroughly disinfected between patients

  • If you are having surgery, you will be required to have a Covid 19 test about 48-72 hours prior to arrival at the hospital.

Please call our office to reschedule your appointment or surgery if you are feeling sick or are exposed to someone you suspect may have Covid-19.
