Updated March 17, 2022
We are open and continuing to provide surgical care for our patients throughout this pandemic. Elective surgeries are now being allowed at all hospitals. We hope the downtrend in coronavirus infections continue for our patients, neighbors, and colleagues.
When visiting our clinic:
- Please wear a mask at all times that covers your nose and your mouth.
- You are welcome to bring a support person with you.
- Routine postoperative or preoperative visits may be conducted via telehealth
If you are sick or have a possible Covid 19 exposure, please call us and postpone your appointment!
If you are having surgery, you will be required to have a Covid 19 test about 48-72 hours prior to arrival at the hospital.
Please call our office to reschedule your appointment or surgery if you are feeling sick or are exposed to someone you suspect may have Covid-19.
Visit Idaho's Official Coronavirus Vaccine page for details and FAQs on getting vaccinated. You can get the FREE Covid-19 vaccine and vaccine booster at retail pharmacies like Sav-On, Fred Meyers, Walmart, Walgreens, local public health districts, hospital walk-in vaccine clinics, or local pharmacies. Huntington Laparoscopy does not have any vaccines to distribute, but we're happy to help you find your closest options.

GET BETTER, FASTER
Surgery is a necessarily part of modern medicine, and new advances have made patients' recovery safer and easier. At Huntington Laparoscopy, we have the latest knowledge and technology to address your surgical needs.
Drs. Huntington -- a father-daughter team of General Surgeons in Boise, Idaho -- specialize in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Major operations can be performed safely and successfully through a minimally invasive approach, which means patients have less pain, fewer complications, and get better faster.
When you arrive at Huntington Laparoscopy, you will be treated with courtesy and respect. At our downtown office, Drs. Huntington take the time to get to know you and your medical history. If you or a loved one needs an operation, we take the time to make sure you understand the procedure and expected recovery. We work with our out of town patients to minimize needless trips too.
Whether it's fixing a hernia or taking out a tumor, you or your loved one will have exceptional care. With decades of experience, scientific publications, and hard work, Huntington Laparoscopy brings competent and compassionate surgical care to Southern Idaho. We operate at St. Luke's Medical Center in downtown Boise and Treasure Valley Hospital in Boise.
Care doesn't end when a patient leaves the hospital. Drs. Huntington and their staff are there if and when patients and their families have questions. Patient-centered care is the norm at Huntington Laparoscopy. We take pride in taking care of our patients as if they were part of our family.
